I began my real estate career in 2002. As a 19 year old I had a goal to purchase my first home. During the transaction I found that I loved every aspect of the home buying process; from inventive advertising language, to touring a home, and especially the negotiation and closing processes. At the end of the sale I told the agent I’d hired that I wanted her job and she graciously helped me get my start. During the past number of years I’ve discovered many more reasons to love this industry; namely, that it’s a fast paced, ever changing market that presents a new challenge every day.
Philosophy
It is my passion to help people. Whether that is helping our clients achieve their real estate goals or helping the strong women I keep around me exceed their own expectations of themselves. Serving others is my “big why”. We’re sure you’ve noticed (especially because we’re in the bio pages) that we are an all female team. At first it happened by accident, many years ago. Though as the team grew and we continued to add powerhouse women it became more intentional. Since I started in business so young and with no college degree/formal training I looked for mentorship with whom I could identify to educate myself. I think through some of my early mentors I built a picture in my head of the kind of leader I wanted to be. The kind of leader who helps women shatter expectations.

"If you are looking to buy or sell real estate in the Seattle area look no further than the team at RARE Northwest! I have used the team to both purchase and sell properties and as a retired Realtor from out of state I can enthusiastically confirm that they are top notch."
"Rachel and Tori were amazing throughout the entire process; being first time home buyers they helped and guided us as we were still learning about housing market. They referred us to great mortgage lenders and even set up a mock review process to walk us through the offer letter and explain each section."
"Rachel and Tori were AMAZING to work with!!! Rachel was super quick to respond when I first reached out, and she was extremely thoughtful in the homebuying strategy she proposed."
